INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) announced on Monday the field for the fifth annual GLVC Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament, which will be hosted by Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo., from May 2-4, 2025.
Regular Season Champion Maryville earned the No. 1 overall seed, while University of Indianapolis gleaned the second seed, Rockhurst University was tabbed as the 3-seed, and Missouri Western University claimed the 4-seed.
The top-four teams based on Conference winning percentage received a berth in the single-elimination tournament.
Semifinal 1: #1 Maryville vs. #4 Missouri Western | Friday, May 2, 12 PM CT
- Maryville went 16-1 overall and 7-0 in GLVC action during the regular season.
- The IWLCA fifth-ranked Saints won their second GLVC Regular Season title and will host the Championship Tournament as the top seed in their third appearance in the GLVC postseason.
- Missouri Western went 9-7 overall and 4-3 in GLVC action during the regular season.
- The Griffons are making their third appearance in the GLVC postseason.
- The two teams met in St. Joseph on April 17 with Maryville taking the 20-8 win.
Semifinal 2: #2 Indianapolis vs. #3 Rockhurst | Friday, May 2, 3 PM CT
- UIndy went 12-5 overall and 6-1 in GLVC action during the regular season.
- The IWLCA seventh-ranked Greyhounds will be making their fifth appearance in the GLVC postseason.
- Rockhurst went 13-3, 5-2 in conference play during the regular season.
- The Hawks are making their fourth appearance in the GLVC postseason.
- The two teams met April 17 with UIndy winning on the road, 15-5.
The Championship match will take place on Sunday, May 4 at 11 AM CT.
