ST. LOUIS – The semifinals of the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Men’s Lacrosse Championship Tournament featured top-seeded Maryville University and third-seeded Lewis University claiming a spot in the title game after semifinal action at the Maryville Athletic Complex on Thursday.
The Saints and Flyers will face off on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT for the GLVC title.

- MU led 3-0 after the first period, seeing three different Saints find the back of the net – Trent Zimay, Jake Grebe, and Dagan Carlson.
- MU took control heading into the half, scoring five more goals to push their lead to 8-1.
- UINDY made a comeback attempt, tallying four goals in the third period, but MU kept the pressure with three scores in the fourth.
- Saints’ Justin Simonson and Zimay tied for the team lead with two goals apiece.
- UINDY’s Nick Luitwieler, Keegan Laughlin, Triston Schaffer, Nathan Lam, Matt Pereira, and Connor Magin all scored a goal apiece.
- MU’s Dylan Radke earned the win on the day, saving 12 shots and allowing six goals.

- The Flyers got off to a hot start with five goals in first period, two of which came from Luke Schroeder.
- RU tied the game at five apiece with 2:36 left in the second quarter, as Adam Husaby tallied two goals for himself.
- LEWIS answered two-straight goals to take a 7-5 lead going into the half.
- Coming out of the third period, LEWIS held the 10-6 lead.
- RU fought back in the fourth, cutting the lead down to 11-10, but Lewis’ defense held strong in the final 20 seconds to secure the victory.
- Overall, RU's Husaby and LEWIS's Schroeder would each lead their teams offensively with three and four goals, respectively.
- In front of the net, the league’s Goalkeeper of the Year – Brock Ollila – from RU had a game-high 20 saves.
